INDIA: DEATH SENTENCE FOR THREE BROTHERS IN UTTAR PRADESH

a court in Uttar Pradesh, India, sentenced three brothers to death in a decade-old triple murder case. Terming it the rarest of rare cases, Special Session Judge R.K. Gautam of the Faizabad district court ordered the death sentence for the brothers for killing three people, including a woman. The accused Mansha Ram Varma, Moti Ram Varma and Vijay Kumar Varma allegedly shot dead three people after a tractor belonging to one of the deceased hit a portion of their house, court officials said.
