Justices DK Jain and 19/08 HL Dattu of the Indian Supreme Court stayed the execution of a man convicted of raping and killing his four-year-old daughter on June 28, 2007. Neel Kumar, 25, was scheduled to be hung at Ambala Central jail in Haryana on August 21. Kumar, of Bilaspur in the Yamuna Nagar district in Haryana, appealed the Punjab and Haryana High Court’s conviction.
