SOLOMONS MP TALKS DEATH PENALTY AS CRIME PERSISTS

a Member of Parliament in the Solomon Islands warned he will move to reintroduce the death penalty if people in his province of Malaita continue to kill each other. The MP for Lau, Mbaelelea Walter Folotalu, said the death penalty must be revived to stop the trend of tribes avenging the death of one of their members by killing another person.
