the Allahabad High Court upheld the death sentence handed down to Bantu by the Agra additional Sessions court in 2004 for the rape and murder of a minor girl. Bantu of Basai Khurd village in Tajganj, Agra district, had lured the five-year old victim on the pretext of giving her a balloon. She was later found profusely bleeding and rushed to hospital where she was pronounced dead.
