the Vadhasiksha Virudha Samithi, a forum campaigning against capital punishment, was to organise an indefinite hunger strike in front of the Secretariat demanding that the State Assembly pass a human rights resolution against the death penalty in India and release all life sentence prisoners eligible for freedom.
