INDIA: KASAB CHALLENGES DEATH PENALTY IN BOMBAY HIGH COURT

Pakistani national Ajmal Kasab filed an appeal in the Bombay High Court in India challenging the death penalty awarded to him for killing 166 people on November 26, 2008. Kasab said there were lapses in evidence produced by police in the trial court.
