INDIA: MAN GETS CAPITAL PUNISHMENT FOR RAPE AND MURDER IN MADHYA PRADESH

A court in Sidhi district of Madhya Pradesh awarded capital punishment to a man for raping a woman, murdering her and then doing unnatural sex with the body before disposing it in a farm.
Court of first additional district judge, Sidhi, Rajeev Ayachi sentenced Nagendra Tiwari, 23, resident of Bhitari village under Rampur Naikin police station with the capital punishment on February 10.
The incident took place at the Bhitari village in July 2013. Public prosecutor, Madan Pratap Singh, said, "Tiwari along with another accused aged 15 years barged into the house of the woman aged 38 years in Bhitari village. They raped her, then killed her by crushing her head with a stone and then they took the body for disposing. But before disposing they did unnatural sex with the body". The other accused who is a minor is under trial at a juvenile justice board, Singh said.
