INDIA: QASAB APPEALS AGAINST DEATH SENTENCE

Pakistani national Mohammad Ajmal Amir Qasab, 23, appealed his death sentence to the Indian Supreme Court for the November 26, 2008, terror attacks in Mumbai. Qasab was found guilty of waging war against India, multiple murder and conspiracy. He was sentenced to death in May 2010. In February, the high court in Mumbai rejected an appeal against the sentence.
