convicted Indonesian terrorist Ali Ghufron, sentenced to die for the 2002 bombing attacks on the resort island of Bali, decided to seek a judicial review of his case, his lawyer said. The bombings at two nightclubs in Bali killed 202 people, mainly foreign tourists. Lawyer Achmad Michdan said Ali Ghufron - alias Mukhlas - signed a document to seek the review of his case when his legal team and family visited him in a prison on Nusakambangan Island off Central Java. According to the law, a judicial review is possible only if new evidence is found. Michdan said the judicial review, which would be filed with the Supreme Court, questioned the use of an anti-terrorism government regulation to bring legal proceedings against his client.
