Indonesia was considering using lethal injection as a means of carrying out the death sentence instead of the current practice of shooting by firing squad, the country's attorney general said. Attorney General Abdul Rahman Saleh said he would meet with the Indonesian Medical Association to discuss the possibility of using injection as a form of execution.
"We will talk about more humane methods of carrying out death sentences," Saleh was quoted as saying.
