INDONESIAN RECEIVES DEATH SENTENCE FOR SERIAL KILLINGS

Yulianto, 38, a masseuse from Kartosuro in Sukoharjo, was sentenced to death by Judge Dwiyanto of the Sukoharjo District Court in Indonesia for murder. He was found guilty of the premeditated murder of Corp. Santoso of the Army’s Kopassus special forces unit, Sugiyo Merto Sumito, both of whom he buried in his backyard, and a travelling companion identified as Suhardi, in 2006 in Bantul. Yulianto allegedly murdered and robbed Santoso because he owed him massage fees. He also confessed three other murders.
