Fatemeh Jahangard, Mehrdad Mokhtari, and Mohammadreza Mohammadparast
Fatemeh Jahangard, Mehrdad Mokhtari, and Mohammadreza Mohammadparast were executed at Mashhad Central Prison (Vakilabad Prison).
According to information received by Hengaw, the executions were carried out at dawn on September 6, 2026. Jahangard, 40, Mokhtari, 24, and Mohammadparast, 27, were all residents of Mashhad.
Informed sources said Jahangard had been arrested five years earlier in connection with the killing of her husband. Mohammadparast was arrested four years earlier on a charge of killing his mother’s partner, while Mokhtari was arrested the same year on a charge of murder.
State-affiliated media, including Khorasan newspaper and Etemad Online, reported only Mohammadparast’s execution, briefly referring to him without his surname. The executions of Jahangard and Mokhtari have not been reported by state-affiliated media.
