September 25, 2024 - IRAN. 2 men executed in Shiraz Central Prison (Adel Abad) on September 25
Rasoul Shenbandi and Akbar Saadi-Khani
The death sentences of Rasoul Shenbandi (Shanbedi), a resident of the Golkoob district of Shiraz, and Akbar Saadi-Khani (Ayoub (Akbar) Sadikhani), a resident of the Sarhad district of the same city, were carried out in Adel Abad Prison in Shiraz. Rasoul Shenbandi had been arrested seven years ago on drug-related chargesh. Akbar Saadi-Khani had been sentenced to death nine years ago for killing two people in a street fight."
