Habibollah Gholami, Yaser Shokri, and Mohammad Tajik

Iranian authorities executed three prisoners, Habibollah Gholami, Yaser Shokri, and Mohammad Tajik, in Mashhad Central Prison and Ghezel Hesar Prison in Karaj. All three had been sentenced to death in separate cases on charges of murder.

According to information received by Hengaw, Tajik, 27, and Shokri were executed in Ghezel Hesar Prison on October 28, 2026. Tajik had spent six years in Khorin Prison in Varamin before being transferred to Ghezel Hesar for execution.

Gholami, 24, was executed in Mashhad Central Prison on October 27, 2026. He had been arrested four years earlier for killing a person outside his home in Radkan village, Chenaran County, in what was described as a so-called defense of family honor.

Iranian state media have not announced any of the three executions.
