According to a report received by Hengaw, on Wednesday, April 17, 2024, the execution of three prisoners, including an Afghanistani national named Sadegh Tajik, was carried out at Ghezel Hesar Prison in Karaj for the crime of premeditated murder.
Simultaneously, a 34-year-old prisoner named Faramarz Tayeb Bakhsh, previously condemned to death for "rape," had his execution carried out.
Additionally, according to the government site Rokna, the execution of a prisoner from Tehran named Hossein, who had murdered three family members in the Bagh Feyz area of Tehran four years ago, was also carried out. The Rokna report does not mention the location of the execution, but sources from Hengaw have reported it took place at Ghezel Hesar Prison.
