According to information received by Hengaw, on the morning of September 29, 2025, three Gilak prisoners — Jafar Pourvardi (35, from Amol), Heydar Rezaipour (40, from Rasht), and Houshang Rahmantalab (46, from Rasht) — were executed in Rasht Central Prison. Pourvardi had been imprisoned for six years, while Rezaipour and Rahmantalab (photo) had been detained for four years. All three had been convicted of murder, including one case stemming from a workplace dispute.
The same news is reported by IHR, but the date of the executions is kept as October 1.
The executions have been announced by Iranian state media.
