September 30, 2026 - IRAN. Abbas Amir-Ghashlaghi (Abbas Amirgheshlaghi) hanged in Arak on September 30
According to information obtained by Iran Human Rights, a man was hanged in Arak Central Prison on 30 September 2026. His identity has been established as 27-year-old Abbas Amir-Ghashlaghi. He was arrested around three years ago for drug-related offences.
At the time of writing, his execution has not been reported by domestic media in Iran.
