At dawn on February 26, 2025, a man was executed in Birjand Prison. HRANA has identified this prisoner as Abdollah Safarzehi (Safarzahi), a Baloch prisoner resident of Aq Qala County, Golestan Province. He was arrested five years ago on charges of drug trafficking and possession of firearms.
As of the time of this report, authorities have not publicly announced the execution.
