According to HRANA, at dawn on September 2, 2026 Ahmad Haji-Hassani was hanged in Gorgan Prison. He had been arrested on drug-related charges for “transporting eight kilograms and 700 grams of methamphetamine”.
As of the time of this report, authorities have not publicly announced the execution.
