August 31, 2025 - IRAN. Esmail Delavari (Esmail Dalavar) and Armin Reyhani (Arman Reyhani) executed in Shiraz on August 31
According to information obtained by Iran Human Rights, two men were hanged in Shiraz (Adel Abad) Central Prison on 31 August 2025. Their identities have been established as 26-year-old Esmail Delavari-Shouli (right photo) from Shiraz and Armin Reyhani (left photo), a 27-year-old Azeri Turk from Firouz Abad in Shiraz. They were sentenced for separate murders.
A source told IHR: “Esmail was arrested five years ago. He had gone to separate two people fighting in his neighbourhood when one of them insulted him with obscene language. He went and got a knife from his house and stabbed the victim in the neck from behind. Armin was arrested for a murder committed during a street fight two years ago.”
Iranian state media have not reported the executions.
