Iran hanged a man for murdering four boys, Tehran Emrooz newspaper reported. The man, identified only as Abdolzahra, 31, was to have been hanged in public in the central city of Yazd. Due to a curb on public executions imposed by the head of Iran's judiciary, Ayatollah Mahmoud Hashemi Shahrudi, the execution took place in prison.
