According to information obtained by IHR, a man was executed in Khorramabad Central Prison on 5 April. His identity has been established as 30-year-old Hassan Ali Mirzania from Aleshtar city, in Lorestan province. He was sentenced for murder. A source told IHR: “Hassan Ali Mirzania was arrested four years ago for charges of murdering two brothers with a hunting rifle.”
At the time of writing, his execution has not been reported by domestic media in Iran.
