February 20, 2025 - IRAN. Hossein Khalifeyi and Alimorad Taheri executed in Bushehr on February 20.
According to information Iran Human Rights received on March 7, two men were hanged in Bushehr Central Prison on 20th February. Their identities have been established as 29-year-old Hossein Khalifeyi and 35-year-old Alimorad Taheri. Both were sentenced for murder.
Hossein was arrested three years ago and Alimorad was arrested in a separate case four years ago.
At the time of writing, their executions have not been reported by domestic media in Iran.
