In Vakilabad Prison in Mashhad, the death sentences of two prisoners — Mahin Rahimi (a woman) and Seyed Javad Tabatabaei — were implemented on November 26. Both had been convicted of murder.

These executions have not been reported by Iranian state media.

With that of Mahin Rahimi, the number of women executed in Iran since the beginning of 2025 has reached 54.

According to data recorded by the Women’s Committee of the National Council of Resistance of Iran, at least 317 women have been executed in Iran since 2007.
