"Mozafar Zare has been convicted of 12 counts of armed robbery, a case of kidnapping and a murder which took place more than two years ago," the head of local judiciary, Ahmad Siavoshpour, was quoted as saying.
"We are not proud of hanging, but we can not stand still while people's peace of mind is endangered," he added.
