According to a report received by Hengaw, the death sentence of Manouchehr Khazaei, a prisoner from Dehlor village of Kangavar County, was carried out in the central prison of Hamedan on Wednesday morning, August 9, 2023.
According to a creditable source, Manouchehr Khazaei was a member of the police force before his arrest. He was arrested on charges of drug-related crimes and sentenced to death.
Hengaw had previously released information about the execution, the same day, in the same prison, of a Kurdish prisoner in the central prison of Hamedan named Ahad Hashemi, a citizen from Harsin City in Kermanshah province.
Ahad Hashemi was also arrested seven years ago on charges of drug-related crimes, and later he was sentenced to death by Judge Nazari at the 1st branch of the Hamadan Revolutionary Court.
Until further notice, the news of the execution of Ahad Hashemi and Manouchehr Khazaei has not been announced in the official media or any media affiliated with the judiciary.
