The death sentence of Mehdi Heydari Tarkashvand, a Kurdish man, was carried out at Hamedan Central Prison.
According to reports received by Hengaw, the execution took place at dawn on July 23, 2025. Heydari, 35, was from Kangavar, a city in Kermanshah Province (Kermashan).
Sources familiar with the case stated that Heydari had been arrested on charges related to narcotics.
State media have not published any news regarding his execution.
