IRAN. MINOR SENTENCED TO DEATH FOR MURDER

a 17 year old boy was sentenced to death in Iran for murder, according to the daily ‘Etemad’. The Supreme Court confirmed the death sentence handed down to the youth, referred to only by his first name ‘Hamid’, convicted of stabbing to death a 23 year old man during an argument in Shahr-e-Rey, a suburb south of the capital Teheran.
The incident reportedly took place over two years ago.
