Iranian authorities have executed Mohammad Mirbaluchzehi, a Baloch prisoner from Zahedan in Sistan and Baluchestan Province, at Manujan Central Prison, in Kerman Province.
According to information obtained by Hengaw, the execution was carried out at dawn on September 7, 2025. Mirbaluchzehi, aged 46, was married and the father of four children.
He was arrested ten years ago in Minab on drug charges. On Friday, prior to the execution, he was transferred to solitary confinement in Manujan Prison and allowed a final visit with his family.
State media have not published any information about his execution.
Data compiled by Hengaw shows that with the execution of Mohammad Mirbaluchzehi, the number of Baloch prisoners executed in Iran since the beginning of this year (a period of less than nine months) has reached 100.
