According to the report received by Hengaw, at 6:30 in the morning on Monday, May 15, 2023, Mohammad Paydar and Peyman Akbari Birgani, both from Shushtar, Khuzestan province, were executed in Khorramabad Central Prison.
Hengaw has been informed that, at the same time, the death sentence of Firoz Yarinejad Gravand, from Kohdasht, Lorestan province, has been suspended temporarily. These three prisoners were previously arrested for drug-related crimes.
The news of Mohammad Paydar and Peyman Akbari Birgani's execution has not yet been reported inside Iran.
