(June 19, 2023) - Mohsen Samadi executed in Saveh on June 19
According to information obtained by IHR on July 3, a man was executed in Saveh Prison on 19 June. His identity has been established as Mohsen Samadi, sentenced to death for drug-related charges by the Revolutionary Court.
A source told IHR: “Mohsen Samadi was transferred from Arak Central Prison to Saveh Prison prior to execution. Because he was arrested in Saveh, his sentence was carried out in Saveh Prison.”
Despite two weeks passing, his execution has not been reported by domestic media in Iran.
