March 29, 2025 - IRAN. Morteza Saadatpour Zeini and Mohsen Hedayat executed in Tabriz on March 29.
According to information obtained by Iran Human Rights and Hrana, two men were hanged in Tabriz Central Prison on March 29, 2025. One has been identified as Morteza Saadatpour Zeini, 32, originally from a village in Tabriz, who was arrested for drug-related offenses three years ago. The other has been identified by Hrana as Mohsen Hedayat, convicted of murder.
At the time of writing, these executions have not been reported by the Iranian national media.
