Omid Ebrahimi and Salar Nasiri executed in Urmia on June 30
On 30 June, two Azerbaijani-Turkic prisoners identified as Omid Ebrahimi and Salar Nasiri were executed in Urmia Central Prison.
On 28 June, the two prisoners were moved to solitary confinement along with Shaker Behrouz, a Kurdish political prisoner sentenced to death.
Ebrahimi and Nasiri, who come from Urmia (Orumiyeh), were arrested a few years ago on the charge of “premeditated murder”.
