IRAN PUBICLY HANGS MAN FOR MURDER IN GOLESTAN

Iran publicly hanged a man for murder in the town of Gonbad-e Kavous in the northern province of Golestan, state-run television reported on its website. The report identified the convicted killer as Nasser-Morad Qolipour and said he killed a police officer two months ago.
