IRAN - Shahriar Dehvari executed in Babolsar on September 7
September 7, 2025 - IRAN. Shahriar Dehvari (Shahriyar Dehwari Khas, also known as Ahmad, or Shahriar (Ahmad) Dahwari, son of Khatam, from Saravan) executed in Babolsar on September 7
According to information obtained by Iran Human Rights, a man was hanged in Babolsar Prison on 7 September 2025. His identity has been established as Shahriar (Ahmad) Dehvari, a Baluch man sentenced for murder.
A source told IHR: “Shahriar was arrested in the Spring of 2023 for the murder of two people in Fereydounkar. According to his family, he was on the road from Saravan to Babolsar at the time of the murders but the court ignored the evidence that proved his innocence at trial.”
At the time of writing, his execution has not been reported by domestic media in Iran.
