Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak denounced the Palestinian Authority's execution of two collaborators convicted of helping Israel pinpoint and kill Palestinian activists during the current uprising

Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak denounced the Palestinian Authority's execution of two collaborators convicted of helping Israel pinpoint and kill Palestinian activists during the current uprising. Barak's office said he "sharply condemns the summary proceedings" against the men, and their executions shortly afterwards. Eitan Feler, director-general of the Israeli human rights group B'Tselem, denounced what he called the "lightning trials and executions" but said Israel was in no position to criticise so long as it liquidated activists with "intolerable ease".
