It was reported that Do Van Tien, a 28 year old Vietnamese farmer, will face a firing squad for stabbing to death his wife and her mother while in an alcoholic rage. Do was found guilty by the Tay Son district court in the central province of Binh Dinh of killing the pair on April 27, 2004. The attack happened one week after his wife left him and returned to live with her mother. He was arrested the same day.
