It was reported that the Thai embassy in Jakarta was still waiting for information from the Legal Aid Institution (LBH) in Medan, Indonesia, regarding the execution of its nationals, Saelow Praseart and Namsong Sirilak both of whom were found guilty of possessing 12.19 kilograms of heroin. Saelow Praseart and Namsong Sirilak had been arrested on January 21, 1994, several hours after they landed at Polonia Airport, Medan, from Singapore.
