It was reported that three people were put to death at dawn in Vietnam at the Cau Nga execution site in the capital's Tu Liem district.
Nguyen Quy Anh, 21, convicted in December 2002 of stabbing to death a motorcycle taxi driver in September that year.
Anh was arrested one week later after selling his victim's motorbike to fund his heroin addiction.
Hoang Minh Duc, 42, was sentenced to death in April 2003 for shooting a jewellery shopkeeper in Hanoi during a raid on the shop in January 2002.
The third person executed was Nguyen Thi Hien, a 57 year old woman. She was given the death penalty in 2003 for defrauding friends and relatives out of nearly 730,000 dollars.
