ITALY. SIXTEEN REGIONAL PRESIDENTS SIGN WILLIAMS APPEAL

two more of Italy’s regional ‘Governors’ added their support to the appeal aimed at California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger in order to halt the execution of Stanley Williams, scheduled to take place on December 13. Claudio Burlando, President of Liguria, and Agazio Loiero, President of Calabria, added themselves to Piero Marrazzo (Lazio), Salvatore Cuffaro (Sicily), Mercedes Bresso (Piedmont), Ottaviano Del Turco (Abruzzo), Claudio Martini (Tuscany), Vasco Errani (Emilia-Romagna), Nichi Vendola (Puglia), Roberto Formigoni (Lombardia), Antonio Bassolino (Campania), Vito De Filippo (Basilicata), Luciano Caveri (Valle d’Aosta),
Renato Soru (Sardegna), Maria Rita Lorenzetti (Umbria) and Gian Mario Spacca
(Marche). Sixteen regional Presidents have up to now undersigned the appeal promoted by Hands Off Cain.
