JAMAICA: PM: GRUESOME MURDERS WARRANT DEATH PENALTY

Jamaican Prime Minister Bruce Golding suggested that the perpetrators of gruesome killings, like beheadings, should face the death penalty. Golding maintains that Jamaica must send a strong signal that it will not condone the crimes. According to the prime minister, Parliament voted more than a year ago to retain the death penalty, and the Government will uphold the law.
