the Osaka District Court, Japan, sentenced Kenji Ohashi, 65, to death for killing two women in 2005. Ohashi was found guilty of breaking into the home of Misako Tsuboi, 57, in the town of Ibigawa, Gifu Prefecture, in April 2005, stealing 15,000 yen in cash and strangling her. He also demanded money at knifepoint from Kiyoko Tanaka, 45, in her apartment in Osaka and stabbed her to death when she resisted, according to the ruling.
