Jin Ruchao, the perpetrator of the notorious explosions that killed 108 people on March 16, together with the other two offenders involved in the explosion, were executed. The Higher People's Court of Hebei Province had upheld the death sentences of Jin Ruchao, Wang Yushun and Hao Fengqin in a second instance trial. Hu Xiaohong, another offender involved in the explosion cases was sentenced to death but he had a two year suspension of execution.
