Juan Soria, 33, of Hispanic origin, was executed by lethal injection. Soria had been convicted of killing a 17 year old, white boy, Allen E. Bolden on 28th June 1985. He was the 26th person to be executed in the State during the year, No 225 since the State resumed executions in 1974. He was the 56th to be put to death in the U.S. during the year and No 654 since the death penalty was re-introduced in 1976.
