Judge John B. Wood sentenced Donnie Allen Hulett Jr. to death by lethal injection in the July 22, 2002 murders of brothers Larry Phelps, 62, and Arvine Phelps, 69. A Walker County jury last week was found Hulett guilty of all 17 counts against him.
