Justice Minister Hikmet Sami Turk declared that leaders of terrorist organizations were not included in a new amnesty bill

Justice Minister Hikmet Sami Turk declared that leaders of terrorist organizations were not included in a new amnesty bill.
About the death sentence, Turk said his ministry prepared a bill about this issue and presented to the Ministers Council.
"This bill proposes to replace death sentence with heavy life imprisonment except for war and terrorism crimes. This bill expresses the common view of the government and Parliament. We're hoping that the bill would be presented to Parliament in the shortest time possible," he said.
