Kurdish rebel leader Abdullah Ocalan was charged with new offences that could see him face a second death penalty, said the state-run Anatolian news agency. In this separate case an Ankara court charged Ocalan and 100 other members of his Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) with forming an armed gang and committing crimes in the south-eastern district of Sanliurfa before 1980.
