Justice Minister Turk, responding to a question about capital punishment , said that in the Justice Commission's draft a new article replaced Article 312. "This foresees commutation of death sentence to life imprisonment. I think the draft would be submitted to the Parliament by the end of 2000 or the beginning of 2001. It will take for the Justice Commission to discuss the draft for a few months," he said.
