Kalinaw Mindanao, the fact-finding group commissioned by the House committee on human rights, reported that two Moro farmers, Kole Jalodin and Nasser Tambag, were summarily executed at the height of military offensives in Pikit. Kalinaw, composed of lawmakers, peace and human rights advocates, religious leaders, church workers and militant groups, said the farmers were taken by soldiers belonging to the army's 40th IB on May 22, on suspicion that they were members of the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF).The farmers' bodies were found in an abandoned area of Barangay Dalangawin in Pikit Joel Virador.
