A man who killed a relative of Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua during a robbery in Nairobi has been sentenced to death.
Daniel Kihungi, alias Daddy, was convicted of robbery with violence.
The court said he was properly identified by witnesses during a police parade.
Kihungi was part of an armed gang that violently robbed Daniel Mwanzo on March 21, 2013 at Golden Gate, South B.
Milimani senior principal magistrate Charity Oluoch said one of the victims, lawyer Monica Wanjiru, positively identified Kihungi as the person armed with a gun during the robbery.
